Teachers Eligibility Test (TET)
The TET, a state-level examination, is conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) to recruit teachers in Tamil Nadu. Candidates who successfully clear this test become eligible for teaching positions in the state.

In simple terms, TN-TET in Tamil Nadu conducts teacher eligibility tests, sets exam standards, creates test content, handles registration and exams, evaluates results, provides certificates, gives policy suggestions, and maintains candidate records to uphold teaching standards in the state.
